On the morning of June 23, the Information Office of Shandong Provincial People’s Government held a press conference to introduce the general arrangement and preparations for the Second Conference of Great Business Partners (“CGBP”) and International Summit on Innovation and Development for Youth Entrepreneurs (“ISIDYE”). As the reporter learned from the press conference, the Second CGBP will be held online on June 30 with its main venue in Jinan, which will be an event of “online investment promotion day” for the whole province. Through analysis, the reporter found improvement in the level, scope and industries of the guests when compared with the last CGBP.

Over 3,500 Business Guests Successfully Registered for the Conference

Focused on key collaborative projects, the CGBP invites guests from related industries and fields and targeted guests from Hongkong and Macau. By June 22, online registrations of 3,545 business guests have been reviewed and approved. By levels of enterprises, there are 219 guests from Fortune Global 500 companies, 193 guests from China's top 500 companies, 999 guests from the leading companies in their industries, and 356 guests from startups. By industry categories, there are 1,885 guests from the “Ten Pillar” industries, accounting for 53.2%, and 129 guests from new infrastructure construction industry. As the opening of the conference approaches, the number of registered guests increases significantly and over 1,000 guests applied on June 22.

The First List of 300 Invited Guest Determined by Jinan

312 high-quality projects have been selected strictly and carefully from the projects submitted by cities within the province for the Second CGBP.

Through efforts online and offline, Jinan has invited a number of VIP guests and determined a list of 300 invited guests, including 60 VIPs.
